Our Families Who Need your Support
At The Children’s Future, our mission is to support families around the globe who face the devastating impacts of poverty, displacement, and inequality. Each family listed here has a unique story of resilience and courage. With your support, we can provide them with the resources they need to rebuild their lives, access healthcare, ensure food security, and create a safe future for their children. There are thousands of families in need of assistance, and many agencies are working together to try to support them all. The more donations we get, the more we can help. Every donation matters.
While some families benefit from visibility through social media, many more remain unseen, with no access to online platforms to share their struggles. These families rely solely on networks like ours to raise awareness and garner support. Reaching them is not only essential but also a testament to the importance of inclusivity in humanitarian aid. By supporting these families, you’re helping to bridge the gap for those who might otherwise be left behind.
Fadi Al-Kahlout & Family
Fadi Al-Kahlout is a brilliant 19-year-old young man who ranked among the top 70 students in all of Palestine, earning a full scholarship to the country of his choice: Libya. Despite the occupation’s restrictions preventing Gazans from leaving to save their lives, we are awaiting the opening of the Rafah border crossing so Fadi can travel and fulfill his destiny of becoming a dentist, a role he passionately dreams of to support his family.
Currently, Fadi volunteers in his community, distributing donated food alongside his twin sister, Hadeel. His achievements, despite aggression, displacement, and fear, are extraordinary. At The Children’s Future, we are honored to support Fadi and are urgently raising funds so he can evacuate to Libya. Time is critical, as the Rafah border crossing may open at any moment.
Saadi
Saadi Naem is a 16-year-old orphan who tragically lost his entire family—his mother, father, four sisters, and three brothers. He is now displaced far from his destroyed hometown, living alone in a tent with no family to support him. We are his only hope, and we are committed to standing by him forever.
Despite his loss, Saadi volunteers to help children forget the war around them by entertaining them with games. His courage and resilience inspire everyone around him, and with your help, we can provide him with the care and opportunities he needs to rebuild his life.
Nahed Khalaf & Family
Nahed Khalaf and his family have endured immense hardship and are in urgent need of support to rebuild their lives. Their dream is to create a safe and stable environment for their children, where they can thrive and heal from the devastating impacts of displacement and instability.
With your help, we can provide Nahed and his family with essential resources to recover and start anew. Every contribution makes a difference, giving them hope for a brighter and more secure future.
Dr. Khalid Riyad & His Family
Dr. Khalid Riyad is the crucial organizer of the community food kitchen, tirelessly ensuring that others have access to nourishment during these trying times. Despite his dedication to serving his community, he never asks for help for his own family. Since the first day of the attacks on Gaza, Dr. Khalid has volunteered as a doctor in Khan Yunis without pay, embodying selflessness and unwavering faith.
Driven by his devotion to Allah and his deep understanding of the Qur’an, Dr. Khalid serves with a heart full of compassion. Yet, he carries with him the pain of personal loss. His brother Mahmun, a fellow doctor and constant presence by his side, is now a martyr. Mahmun’s kindness and generosity continue to resonate through the community, as Dr. Khalid often reminds us of the love and respect Mahmun inspired.
May Allah grant Mahmun eternal peace and comfort in Jannah, far better than the trials of this Dunya. Dr. Khalid’s perseverance and service to his community stand as a testament to the strength of faith, love, and dedication to those in need. 🤲
Mohammed Yahya Al Baz & His Family
I am Mohammed Yahya Al-Baz, the eldest of a 5-member family that was once much larger. Originally from Al-Bureij, we are now displaced in Nuseirat, near the Netzarim axis border of Israel. At any moment, if the occupation advances, we face displacement or death in the blink of an eye.
Our family now consists of myself (28 years old), Rula (18), Hamza (15), Mahmoud (20), and my mother (52). Once, we lived a humble life with my father. However, in the 2019 attacks, we lost my father, my grandmother, my mother’s mother, and my father’s grandmother—within just two days. We also lost my sister’s son in a fire in the tents, along with my cousin, my aunt, and my cousin’s son.
We survived the attacks of 2014 and 2019, and now, in 2025, we await our last moments in the freezing cold. Starved, frozen, and bombed every day, it feels as though the world has forgotten us. Please, in solidarity and with a kind human heart, I ask you to stand by our side and support what is left of my family.
I carry the psychological burden of protecting my brothers, sister, and mother. I would do anything to ensure their survival, but I am helpless without your support. Any small contribution will suffice. Share our story and be the hope we desperately need in a world that seems to have forgotten us.
Amer Taroush & Family
Amer Taroush is originally from northern Gaza, Jabalia. He has 4 beautiful children: Rami, Mohammad, Buthania, and Abd-al Rahman, and his wife.
From the first days of the war, his children, mother, and half of his siblings made it to the south of the Gaza Strip. When the occupation entered, they went to Khan Yunis, and his brother Aed was martyred in Khan Yunis. May God bless him with eternal heaven. 🤲
They were displaced again to the middle strip of Deir al-Balah, where they remain under siege, starvation, and freezing rain.
Amer is supporting his immediate and extended family, including his mother, brother Tamer, sister Taghreed, and others trapped under siege in Jabalia. Brother Ibrahim narrowly survived a bombing, emerging with a broken leg. Tragically, on the first day of 2025, the occupation army targeted the Taroush family, martyring 15 and injuring 30.
As a painful reminder of this aggression, Amer’s father, suffering from cancer, passed away without receiving treatment due to the blockade of the Rafah crossing. Despite the immense loss, Amer’s daughter, Buthania, continues to sing songs of hope, praying for peace and safety for their family and others like them.
Wahid
On May 19, 2024, 12-year-old Wahid was seriously injured by a bomb attack near his home in Khan Younis, Gaza. Wahid barely survived but lost his right eye, right arm, and right leg in the attack.
Wahid’s recovery journey has been challenging. He continues to experience pain from the wounds, while shrapnel left in his body causes ongoing medical issues. His family, displaced multiple times, struggles to provide him with the care he desperately needs.
The family’s home has been destroyed, forcing them to live in tents or damaged houses. They face extreme poverty and food insecurity, making it nearly impossible to ensure Wahid receives necessary medical attention. Your support can make a difference in giving Wahid a chance to heal and rebuild his life.
